This specimen was lot 20141 in Ponterio sale 176 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $1,175. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. James I, 1603-1625. Crown, ND (1615-16). Tun. Second Coinage. S-2626; North-2092l; Fr-236; KM-36. 38.6 grains. Fifth bust. Crowned bust right, plain armor details, different ruff and thicker head. Rv. Crowned square top quartered shield with crown flanked by ‘I’ and ‘R’; dual titles of queen and king. Some crudeness is noted on the perimeter, and the coin was apparently struck from clashed dies, as can be seen behind the portrait. The Tun mark is clear on reverse, but some portions of the legend are flat. Bright. Very Fine. Ex: Seaby, 1982."
