This specimen was lot 31033 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $3,840. The catalog description[1] noted, "William IV gold 1/2 Sovereign 1835 MS64+ NGC, KM 722, S-3831. With only mild surface marks, this coin exhibits a spectacular full sun-yellow luster, the fifth highest graded between PCGS and NGC combined. A similar example graded more than two points lower realized $2,200 in our January 2018 auction. One for the discerning collector."

m. 773,000, type struck 1835-37. The 1834 had a smaller diameter.
