This specimen was lot 20433 in Ponterio sale 176 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $1,058. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. George V, 1910-1936. Sovereign, 1925. NGC MS-65. S-3996; Fr-404; KM-820. Bare bust left. Rv. Pistrucci’s St. George and the Dragon, date below. A beautiful example—another perfect type coin. Ex: Pollack, 1973."
