This specimen was lot 812 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €10,000 (about US$13,478 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FREIBURG, STADT, Taler o. J. (1714), auf die Friedensschlüsse zu Rastatt und Baden und die dort vereinbarte Rückführung der seit 1713 von Frankreich besetzten Stadt unter die österreichische Oberhoheit. 27,10 g. CIVITAS + AC + MVNIMENTVM + / FRIBVRGEN + BRISGOICVM · Ansicht der befestigten Stadt von Osten mit ihren Kastellen, im Abschnitt die Dreisam, oben in Lorbeerkranz PAX//SVB UMBRA - ALA e RVM - TVARVM ° · Gekrönter Adler mit Zepter und Schwert in den Fängen, auf der Brust die beiden Schilde der Stadt, unten eine Weintraube. Berstett 215; Dav-2234. RR Feine Patina, attraktives, vorzügliches Exemplar.
