This specimen was lot 20380 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $3,360. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRANCE. Agnel d'Or, ND (ca. 1422-36). Charles VII (1422-61). NGC MS-64. Fr-304; Dupl-452var; Ciani-623. Issued under Charles VII. Variety with cross pattee above lamb, and another such cross in the northeast quadrant of the quadrilobe on the reverse, replacing a fleur-de-lis. Very similar to an issue by Charles VI (Dupl-372). A very presentable and well-struck example; absolutely RARE in this grade."

1st emission (March 1423): 2.54 g, .958 fine gold, 17 sols, 6 denier tournois. 2nd emission (October 1424 thru March 1425) 2.54 g, .916 fine gold. 3rd emission (November 1427) 2.54 g, .750 fine gold, very rare.
