This specimen was lot 1672 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 60 CHF (about US$72 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANKREICH, Konigreich, Louis XV. 1715-1774. 1/4 Ecu Vertugadin 1716 A, Paris. Réformation. 7.57 g. Gadoury 302. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, quarter écu Vertugadin of 1716, Paris mint, reformed. Very fine-extremely fine.)"
Dr/4 no. 837, 7.64 g, .917 fine, m. 2,304 fn plus unknown rf. The rf is the most common date of the type. struck 1716-18.
