This specimen was lot 3068 in Künker sale 264 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,400 (about US$1,809 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"KÖNIGREICH Louis XIII, 1610-1643. Ecu d'or au soleil 1641, A, Paris. 3.34 g. Kleiner Schrötling. Duplessy 1282; Fr-398; Gadoury 55. GOLD. Vorzüglich. (kingdom of France, Louis XIII, 1610-43, écu d'or of the sun of 1641, Paris mint, a few flaws, extremely fine.)"
