This specimen was lot 1251 in Jean Elsen sale 133 (Brussels, June 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AR demi-écu aux huit L, 1725V, Troyes. D/ B. jeune à d., l., dr. et cuir. R/ Croix formée de quatre lis couronnés, cantonnée de huit L. Dupl. 1671; Gad-312. 11,73 g Très rare. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, silver half écu of the 8 'L's' of 1725, Troyes mint. Obverse: draped, laureate, armored young bust to right; reverse: cross formed of four crowned lilies cantoned with eight 'L's'. Very rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"

Dr/4 no. 826, 11.75 g, .917 fine silver, 32 mm diameter, lettered edge, m. 62,559, not priced, rare type.
