This specimen was lot 1432 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €400 (about US$530 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AV demi-louis d'or aux lunettes, 1726N, Montpellier. D/ B. drapé à g., tête nue. R/ Ecus ovales de France et de Navarre sous une couronne. Dupl-1641; Gad-329. 4,03 g Coup sur la tranche. Beau à Très Beau. (kingdom of [[France], Louis XV, 1715-74, gold half louis of the spectacles of 1726, Montpellier mint. Obverse: draped bust to left; reverse: oval arms of France and Navarre under a crown. Edge nick, Fine - Very Fine.)"
Dr/4 no. 808, Dr/2 no. 541, 4.07 g, .917 fine gold, 20 mm diameter, reeded edge, struck 1726-39, face value 10 livres raised to 12 livres in May 1726. 1726-N: m. 19,800, TTB 540 vs. 500 for 1726-A.
