This specimen was lot 1425 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €420 (about US$557 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AV louis d'or aux lunettes, 1726H, La Rochelle. D/ B. drapé à g., tête nue. R/ Ecus ovales de France et de Navarre sous une couronne. Dupl-1640; Gad-340. 8,15 g Traces d'ajustage. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of [[France], Louis XV, 1715-74, gold louis of the spectacles of 1726, La Rochelle mint. Obverse: draped bust to left; reverse: oval arms of France and Navarre under a crown. Traces of adjustment marks, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
