This specimen was lot 1412 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €2,300 (about US$3,048 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AR demi-écu de France, 1721V, Troyes. Réformation. D/ B. enfantin à d., l., dr. et cuir. R/ Ecu de France couronné. Dupl-1666; Gad-311. 12,16 g Extrêmement rare. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, silver half écu of France of 1721, Troyes mint, reformed. Obverse: laureate and draped bust right; reverse: crowned arms of France. Extremely rare, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
