This specimen was lot 1289 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR demi-écu aux huit L, 1690X, Amiens. 1er type. 1e réformation. D/ B. dr. à d. R/ Croix formée de huit L couronnés, cantonnée de quatre lis. Dupl-1515A; Gad-184. 13,39 g. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV, 1643-1715, silver half écu of the eight "L's" of 1690, Amiens mint, first type, first reformation. Obverse: draped bust right; reverse: cross formed of eight crowned "L's", cantonned with four lilies. Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
