This specimen was lot 1237 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €200 (about US$265 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR demi-écu de Navarre à la mèche longue, 1652V, Saint-Palais. D/ B. enfantin, l., dr. et cuir. à d. R/ Ecu couronné, parti de France et Navarre. Dupl-1474; Gad-170. 13,50 g Très rare Griffes. Taches de vert-de-gris au revers. Beau à Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV, 1643-1715, silver half écu of Navarre of the long lock of 1652, St. Palais mint. Obverse: laureate, draped and armored infant bust right; reverse: crowned arms of France and Navarre. Very rare, scratches, verdigris on the reverse, Fine - Very Fine.)"
Dr/4 no. 528, Dr/2 no. 302, KM 183. 13.72 g, .917 fine silver, 32 mm diameter, plain edge, m. unknown but common for the type, struck 1652-62. 7½x a regular demi-écu.
