This specimen was lot 1167 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €480 (about US$636 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIII (1610-1643), AV écu d'or au soleil, 1640K, Bordeaux. Flan large. D/ Ecu de France couronné, sous un soleil. La légende débutant à 12h. R/ Croix anillée et fleurdelisée. Dupl-1282; Gad-55. 3,17 g Rare Fines griffes. Flan large. Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Louis XIII, 1610-43, gold shield of the sunburst of 1640, Bordeaux mint, large planceht. Obverse: crowned arms of France under a sunburst, obverse legend begins at 12 o'clock; reverse: voided floriate cross. Rare, fine scratches, Very Fine.)"
