This specimen was lot 1108 in Jean Elsen sale 141 (Brussels, June 2019), where it sold for €440 (about US$583 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Charles IX (1560-1574), AV écu d'or au soleil, 1566M, Toulouse. D/ Ecu de France couronné, sous un soleil. R/ Croix fleurdelisée. Dupl-1057; Ci. 1343; Laf. 890. 3,37 g. Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Charles IX, 1560-74, gold shield of the sunburst of 1564, Limoges mint. Obverse: crowned arms of France below a sunburst; reverse: floriate cross. Very fine.)"

3.375 g, .958 fine gold, 50 sols tournois. varieties Dupl-1057 thru -1057D. reverse legend specific to Toulouse (Dupl-1057B). Fr-378.
