This specimen was lot 1037 in Jean Elsen sale 138 (Brussels, September 2018), where it sold for €800 (about US$1,110 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR écu au buste juvénile, 1670A, Paris. 1er type. D/ B. à d., les cheveux longs, l., dr. et cuir., orné d'une dentelle. R/ Ecu de France couronné. Dupl. 1483; Gad-205. 27,41 g Légères traces d'ajustage au droit. Beau portrait. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV, 1643-1715, silver écu of the juvenile bust of 1670, Paris mint, first type. Obverse: laureate, draped and armored bust right with long hair; reverse: crowned arms of France. Light adjustment marks on obverse, nice portrait, very fine to extremely fine.)"
