This specimen was lot 1416 in Jean Elsen sale 135 (Brussels, December 2017), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AR écu aux huit L, 1725A, Paris. D/ B. jeune, l., dr. et cuir. à d. R/ Croix formée de quatre lis couronnés, cantonnée de huit L. Dupl. 1670; Gad-320. 23,64 g Rare Fines stries d'ajustage. Très Beau à Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XV, 1715-74, silver écu of the eight "L's" of 1725, Paris mint. Obverse: laureate, draped and armored young bust to right; reverse: cross formed of four crowned lilies, with eight "L's" in the fields. Rare, adjustment marks, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"
