This specimen was lot 765 in Jean Elsen sale 123 (Brussels, December 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR quart d'écu aux insignes, 1701 A, Paris. 3e réformation. Droit: B. à droite, cuirassé à l'antique. Revers: Ecu de France rond, couronné, brochant sur une main de justice et un sceptre posés en sautoir. Dupl., 1535B; Gad-156. 6,58 g. presque Très Beau. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV (1643-1715), silver quarter écu of the insignia of 1701, Paris mint, third reformation. Obverse: armored bust to right; reverse: crowned arms of France over a baton and sceptre; about very fine.)"
