This specimen was lot 942 in Jean Elsen sale 124 (Brussels, March 2015), where it sold for €__ (about US$__ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XV (1715-1774), AR écu aux rameaux d'olivier, 1726 I, Limoges. Droit: B. habillé à gauche, décoré de la croix du Saint-Esprit. Revers: Ecu de France couronné, entre deux rameaux d'olivier. Dupl., 1675; Gad-321. 29,25 g. Petit éclat du flan sur la tranche et légères traces d"ajustage. Superbe. (kingdom of France, Louis XV (1715-74), silver écu of the olive branches of 1726, Limoges mint. Obverse: uniformed bust to left, decorated with the cross of the Holy Spirit; reverse: crowned arms of France between two olive branches. Small rim bump, slight adjustment marks, extremely fine.)"
