This specimen was lot 1070 in Jean Elsen sale 124 (Brussels, March 2015), where it sold for €500 (about US$623 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Louis XVIII, seconde restauration (1815-1824), AV 20 francs, 1817 K, Bordeaux. 4.803 p. frappées. Gad-1028. Rare. Fine griffe au droit et coup sur la tranche. Très Beau à Superbe. (France, Louis XVIII, second restoration (1815-24), gold twenty francs of 1817, Bordeaux mint, 4,803 pieces struck. Rare, fine obverse scratch and rim nick, very fine to extremely fine.)"
