This specimen was lot 29035 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "Louis XV 2 Sols (Sou Marqué) 1741/38-BB MS62 NGC, Strasbourg mint, KM500.4, Vlack-252a, R6. Light brown toning, giving way to gold in the peripheries. From the Doug Robins Collection of Canadian Tokens."

Gad-281: 2.18 g, .250 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by J. C. Roettiers, struck 1738-69. Dr/4 no. 859, Dr/2 no. 595. 1741-BB m. 1,134,936.
