This specimen was part of lot 29029 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), which sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "Trio of Louis XV 2 Sols (Sous Marqués), 1) 1740-I VF, Limoges mint, KM500.10, Vlack-116a. No stop after NAV. 2) 1740-N XF, KM500.14, Vlack-150. Montpellier mint. Unusual die collapse. 3) 1740-Q VF, Perpignan mint, KM500.17, Vlack-171. From the Doug Robins Collection of Canadian Tokens."

Gad-281: 2.18 g, .250 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by J. C. Roettiers, struck 1738-69. Dr/4 no. 859, Dr/2 no. 595. 1740-I m. 601,653; 1740-N m. 389,724; 1740-Q m. 328,897. common to uncommon dates.
