This specimen was lot 1239 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it sold for €__ (about US$__ including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Quatrième République (1947-1959), Cu-al. 20 francs, 1954 B, Guiraud. Gad-865. Très Rare. Fines griffes. presque Superbe. (France, fourth republic (1947-59), aluminum bronze twenty francs of 1954, Beaumont-le-Roger mint, Guiraud type. Very rare, faint scratches, about extremely fine.)"
4 g, aluminum bronze, 23. 5 mm diameter, plain edge, designed by Georges Guiraud. type struck 1950-54; 1954-B is the key date (mintage unknown). demonetized 1967.
