This specimen was lot 24560 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "Louis XVIII 1/2 Franc 1819-T, KM 708.10, MS63 NGC, deeply toned and attractive, a choice mint state example of this elusive date/mint. Listed, and pictured, on the web site of CGB (the publisher of the catalogue LeFranc, in their Collection Ideale as the finest known of this date and mint. Incorrectly listed on the web site as MS64."
