This specimen was lot 1163 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it sold for €120 (about US$192 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANCE, Royaume, Louis XIV (1643-1715), AR vingtième d'écu au trois couronnes, 1710 N, Montpellier. Droit: B. à droite, cuirassé à l'antique. Revers: Trois couronnes posées en triangle, séparées par trois lis. Dupl., 1572; Ci., 1941; Gad-110. 1,45 g. Très Rare. Beau. (kingdom of France, Louis XIV (1643-1715), silver twentieth écu of the three crowns of 1710, Montpellier mint. Very rare, fine.)"
Dr/4 no. 763, Dr/2 no. 455. type struck 1710-15 but no common dates. 1710-D, -M, -N (30,172) only. 1.53 g, .917 fine silver, 16-19.5 mm diameter.
