This specimen was lot 30793 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $998.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "French Colony Piastre 1910-A MS61 PCGS, Paris mint, KM 5a.1, Lec-293. An elusive date for the type with its mintage of 760,718 ranking as second lowest in the series behind the rare 1890. As such, almost never encountered in this quality and the only example to certify at the Mint State grade at PCGS or NGC. An important coin for the certified set-builder."
