This specimen was lot 42824 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "FRENCH COLONIES. 5 Centimes, 1829-A. PCGS MS-63. cf. KM-10.1; cf. Lec-301. Reported mintage of 299,066 pieces. Struck in brass. Struck for use in Guyana. Well struck with some orange highlights to the medium brassy toning. Minor contact marks consistent for the grade. An attractive example with good definition of the fine details and crisp legends."

the genuine coin was bronze and struck 1825, 1828-30. counterfeit?
