This specimen was lot 978 in Jean Elsen sale 142 (Brussels, September 2019), where it sold for €100 (about US$130 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"VLAANDEREN, Graafschap, Philips de Goede (1419-1467), AR dubbele groot kromstaart, 1419-1428, Gent. ? zonder dwarsstreep. Vz/ Leeuw n. l. met het wapenschild van de hertog. Kz/ Lang kruis met in de hoeken F-L-A-D. D.d.P. 11, 35; Martiny, Gent, 98. 3,06 g Krasje op vz. Deels zwak maar mooi rond. goede Zeer Fraai. (county of Flanders, Philip the Good, 1419-67, silver double groat of 1419-28, Ghent mint. Obverse: lion rampant left, supporting ducal arms; reverse: long cross, "F-L-A-D"good Very Fine.)"
