This specimen was lot 1322 in Jean Elsen sale 125 (Brussels, June 2015), where it sold for €650 (about US$865 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"VLAANDEREN, Graafschap, Keizer Karel (1506-1555), AV gouden reaal, z.j. (1521-1556), Brugge. Munttekens: lelie op vz. en kz. Vz/ Geharnast bb. v.v. met zwaard en rijksappel. Kz/ Tweekoppige adelaar met groot wapenschild op de borst. G.H. 183-5a; D.d.P. 2, 12; Delm. 515; coll. Vernier 117 var. 4,58 g. Is gemonteerd geweest Zeer Fraai. (county of Flanders, emperor Charles (1506-55), golden real without date, Bruges mint, lily mintmark. Obverse: crowned and armored bust with sword and imperial orb; reverse: crowned imperail eagle supports arms on its breast. Mount mark, very fine.)"
