This specimen was lot 1430 in Jean Elsen sale 117 (Brussels, June 2013), where it sold for €_ (about US$_ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"VLAANDEREN, Graafschap, Philips II (1555-1598), AR Philipsdaalder, 1557, Brugge. Met titel van koning van Engeland. Droit: Geharnast bb. radié. Met PHS in de leg. Revers: Gekroond wapenschild op een Bourgondisch kruis tussen twee vuurijzers. G.H., 210-7c; Haeck, 652; Delm-35. 34,31 g. Zeer Fraai à Prachtig. (county of Flanders, Philip II (1555-98), silver Philipsdaalder of 1557, Bruges mint, with the title of king of England. Obverse: armored bust; reverse: crowned arms on a Burgundian cross between two jewels. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
