This specimen was lot 2359 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $1,292.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "FINLAND. 25 Pennia, 1890. NGC PROOF-67. KM-6.2; Sieg-32; Bit-239. Razor sharp with bold rims and devices. Incredibly brilliant hard mirror fields beam luster through the light golden orange toning which clings around the eagle and among its feathers. RARE and of such high grade it must surely be among the finest available. The only example graded by NGC or PCGS."
