This specimen was lot 21016 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $7,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Ryal, ND (1464-70). Edward IV, First Reign (1461-70). PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Fr-132; S-1950; North-1549. 7.69 g. Sun mint mark. Light coinage. King standing on ship, holding sword and shield; rose at side of ship and "E" on stern; Reverse: Sun at center surrounded by alternating crown/lion and lis within double tressure of eight arches. Fully detailed and lustrous with complete peripheral legends. Rich golden toned throughout. A choice coin with exceptional eye appeal."
we see a crown mintmark, not a sun. the crown mintmark was used 1466-69. the sun m/m was used 1465-68, 1469-70. the ryal or rose noble weighed 120 grains, was worth 10 shillings.
