This specimen was lot 23756 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $2,115. The catalog description[1] noted, "Suez Canal Token copper 5 Francs 1865, KM-Tn4, Proof 61 BN NGC, issued by Ch. & A. Bazin, glossy surfaces. The obverse features an ancient sailing ship with oars to the side. A very popular token issue and rarely seen in Proof."
