This specimen was lot 11394 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $1,020. The catalog description[1] noted, "ECUADOR. (1831) Moneda de Quito 2 Reales. Quito mint. KM-6. Good-4 (PCGS). Script "MDQ" countermark on an 1819-JF Nueva Granada 2 Reales, KM-76. Light silver gray with a bold countermark. Some trivial old hairline scratches are noted on the left side of the obverse. A scarce issue on a rare undertype. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins."

KM 6, KM A6, KM 7, KM 8 all c/m 2 reales. c/m also applied to 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 8 reales.
