This specimen was lot 22266 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "EAST AFRICA. Shilling, 1941-I. Bombay Mint. PCGS MS-62. KM-28.2. RARE. Type II Reverse with thick rim and small loop. No mintage or pricing figures in the Krause catalog. Population of eight with four graded a single point finer at PCGS and NGC combined. Remarkably free of blemishes given the unusual 0.250 silver alloy, with a few minor spots on the reverse and bright luster overall. Well struck with the majestic reverse design capturing immediate attention upon inspection."
