This specimen was lot 159 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Frederik VI. 1808-1839. AR 2 Rigsbankskilling (12mm, 1.18 g, 12h). Altona mint. Iohann Friederich Freund, mintmaster. Dated 1836 IFF. KM 710; C 106. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Gem BU with just a hint of patina. Highest ever graded specimen and a one year only type."
