This specimen was lot 153 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, July 2014), where it sold for $__. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Christian VII. 1766-1808. AR Speciedaler (39mm, 28.93 g, 6h). København (Copenhagen) mint. Hans Jakob Arnold Branth, mintmaster. Peter Leonard Gianelle, engraver. Dated 1799 HIAB PG. KM 654; Davenport 131; Hede 39E. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Very light toning over superb satin surfaces. Highest ever graded specimen by five grades. An incredible coin and one of the rarities of the Danish section. Purchased from Louis Collins, December 1988."
