This specimen was lot 40243 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $660. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1800/799-JJ 2 Escudos. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Carlos IV (1788-1808). Restrepo 89.19. AU-58 (PCGS). This is the very scarce 1800/799 overdate, with clear overpunching seen on all of the last three date digits, Bright yellow gold with some pale green highlights amidst the lustrous fields. The reverse, as always, is more reflective in character, and shows some softness on the shield. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Ex. Alvaro Gonzales, June 1974."
