This specimen was lot 40095 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1812-JF Escudo. Santa Fe de Nuevo Reino (Bogotá) mint. Ferdinand VII (1808-1833). Restrepo 122.12. MS-63 (PCGS). Very lustrous, with attractive, subtle toning highlights around devices across the highly frosty surfaces. The top of the 2 is filled, though this has not been recognized by PCGS as the 2/1 overdate. This is a well struck and very well preserved example of the date or type. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins. Ex. Hans M.F. Schulman, August 1969."

Nuevo Reino (Fr-65, KM 64.1) struck 1808-20 and Popayán (Fr-66, KM 64.2, KM 64.3) struck 1808-19. assayers JF, JJ for 1812.
