This specimen was lot 22280 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 2 Escudos, 1789-P SF. Popayan Mint. Charles IIII (1788-1808). PCGS Genuine--Devices Engraved, EF Details Secure Holder. Fr-40; KM-51.2; Cal-Type 45#375. Toned with precise tooling blended into Charles IV's bust. A SCARCE issue. From the collection of Arthur Leeds and his Wantagh Coin Exchange company. First availability since his passing in 1963."
