This specimen was lot 12260 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2018), where it sold for $19,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "Likely Unique 1875-AB 10 Pesos. The Norweb Discovery Specimen. COLOMBIA. 1875-AB 10 Pesos. Medellín mint. Restrepo M334.3. AU-53 (PCGS). Another vitally rare piece, the only example documented or published. Light yellow gold with some traces of luster and scattered minor bagmarks. The date and other design elements are bold. An extremely important coin. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian and Ecuadorian Coins. From Spink America's sale of the Norweb Collection, March 1997, lot 590."
