This specimen was lot 22127 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "CEYLON. 5 Rupees, 1957. NGC PROOF-66 CAMEO. KM-126. 2,500 Years of Buddhism. Hard mirror fields with frosted cameo devices. Brilliant and highly attractive."
KM 126, 28.26 g, .925 fine silver, 39 mm dia., m. 500,000 (majority melted) + 1,800 proofs.
