This specimen was lot 29472 in Heritage sale 3040 (Long Beach, April 2015), where it sold for $1,997.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Edward VII 50 Cents 1905 AU53 PCGS, London mint, KM 12. Attractive, with mottled surfaces covered in earthy shades of olive and russet tone. A key date in the series from the short-lived reign of Edward VIII, this offering presents a considerable amount of remaining detail, especially on George's crown and the reverse wreath motif. Visually appealing and with minimal wear, scarce in this state of preservation."
