This specimen was lot 11126 in Ponterio sale 159 (Baltimore, March 2011), where it sold for $324.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "COSTA RICA. Banco Nacional De Costa Rica. 100 Colones, 21.12.1949. P-212a. A scarce highest denomination note which shows with the Sub-Gerente overprint at lower right. Evenly circulated and pressed."
