This specimen was lot 602 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,504 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Wilhelm, 1603-1642. Reichstaler 1627, Harburg oder Moisburg. Dav-6405; Welter 722 A; Bahrf. 43. (duchy of Brunswick-Harburg, William I, 1603-42, thaler of 1627, Harburg or Moisburg mint. Very rare, attractive example with fine toning, small edge crack, very fine. Bahrfeldt observes: "Despite the two years of employment, coins with the mint mark of mintmaster Quensel (a hand gripping a crescent) are very rare. I only know the following Thaler, where it must remain doubtful where it is coined, in Harburg or Moisburg, since Quensel acted as mintmaster for both mints.")"

Brunswick-Harburg, KM 16, 1620-31 and ND, XF $950. 1627(q) and 1627-HR.
