This specimen was lot 446 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,800 (about US$2,426 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, HERZOGTUM Heinrich der Jüngere, 1514-1568. Taler 1538, Riechenberg (Münzzeichen Kreuz über Halbmond). Dav. 9039; Welter 399. R Sehr schön +. Exemplar der Slg. Bernhard Terletzki. Erworben im Februar 1990 bei der Firma Fritz Rudolf Künker, Osnabrück. (duchies of Brunswick-Luneburg and Brunswick Wolfenbuttel, Henry the Younger, 1514-68, thaler of 1538, Riechenberg mint. Scarce, very fine or better. From the Bernhard Terletzki Collection.)"
