This specimen was lot 1490 in Jean Elsen sale 134 (Brussels, September 2017), where it sold for €120 (about US$170 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, BRUNSWICK-LÜNEBURG-CELLE, Friedrich (1636-1648), AR Taler, 1639, Clausthal. Légendes gothiques. D/ B. à d. R/ Ecu orné, surmonté de cinq heaumes. Welter 1414; Dav-6494. 28,62 g. presque Très Beau . (Germany, duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Celle, Frederick I, 1636-48, silver thaler of 1639, Clausthal mint, Gothic legends. Obverse: bust to right; reverse: ornate arms, five helmets above. About very fine.)"
