This specimen was lot 282 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €3,400 (about US$4,583 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN. Christian Friedrich Karl Alexander, 1757-1791. Konv.-Taler 1775, Schwabach. Prämie für fleißig betriebenen Kleebau. Dav-2010; Slg. Wilm. 1093; Slg. Grüber (Auktion Künker 267) 4839 (dieses Exemplar). RR Attraktives, vorzügliches Exemplar mit feiner Tönung. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Christian Frederick Charles Alexander, 1757-91, convention thaler of 1775, Scwabach mint, prize for champion cattle. Rare, attractive, extremely fine example with fine toning.)"
