This specimen was lot 809 in Jean Elsen sale 127 (Brussels, December 2015), where it sold for €__ (about US$___ including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Philippe II (1555-1598), AR écu Philippe, 1590, Anvers. D/ B. cuir. à g. R/ Ecu couronné avec écusson de Portugal en surtout, sur une croix de Bourgogne, entre deux briquets, portant le bijou de la Toison d'or. G.H. 210-1h; Delm-18; W. 833. 33,44 g Légère double frappe et fines griffes au droit. Beau portrait. Très Beau. (duchy of Brabant, Philip II (1555-98) silver écu Philippe of 1590, Antwerp mint. Obverse: armored bust to left; reverse: crowned arms with the escutcheon of Portugal over a Burguandian cross between two jewels, the order of the Golden Fleece around. Lightly double struck with fine scratches on the obverse. Nice portrait, very fine.)"
