This specimen was lot 71104 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH WEST AFRICA. 2 Shillings, 1914. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. KM-13. The sole finest example graded by PCGS, this enticingly choice piece features pleasing argent surfaces along with a scattered golden tone throughout."
